Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead by Tom Stoppard • 4-6 December 2014 • directed by Katherine Timms
“Incidents! All we get is incidents! Dear God is it too much to ask for a little sustained action?”
Backstage in the world of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, hapless duo Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are asked by King Claudius to talk sense into his troublesome nephew. As the Bard’s tale goes on, our hapless duo are sucked into a world of blood, death and rhetoric as events gradually spiral out of control.
Workspace Productions presents their unique take on Tom Stoppard’s twisted tragicomedy set in the wings of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
